Brian Duperreault in Carrier Management: “Industry can’t sustain high cost of transaction”

NEW YORK, New York, November 12, 2014 – Hamilton  Insurance Group CEO Brian Duperreault today joined Chairman and CEO of W.R. Berkley Corporation, Bill Berkley, and Managing Partner of Dowling & Partners Securities, V.J. Dowling, for a panel discussion on the future of the insurance industry. The panel was the final event of the Annual Meeting of the Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) and attracted over 1,000 of the delegates attending the CAS meeting at the New York Hilton in midtown Manhattan.

Moderated by A.M. Best Senior Vice President, Ratings Services, Matt Mosher, the three industry veterans looked at a wide variety of issues facing insurers, reinsurers and brokers, including the influx of alternative capital, emerging risks such as cyber security, and the impact of rapid technological advances on product development and distribution.
