HAMILTON, Bermuda, December 28, 2016 – Hamilton Insurance Group (“Hamilton”), the Bermuda-based holding company for insurance and reinsurance operations in Bermuda, the US and the UK, today announced the names of the Bermuda-registered charities supported by its Community Giving Committee during 2016.

Funding was distributed among nine organizations meeting the criteria outlined by the committee when it was established in December 2014.

“We’re pleased that after two years of operations, our efforts to support effective Bermuda-registered charities has contributed to the well-being of our community,” said Hamilton Re CFO and Committee Chair Vanessa Hardy Pickering. “The organizations we fund are providing meaningful programmes and services in the fields of sports, the arts, social services and academics, and we are pleased to have enabled the work they do for Bermuda.”
